The Ruby Fires Xaralyn XXL Insert is a bioethanol combustion unit designed to be recessed into existing fireplace openings, custom-made furniture, or interior design projects. It generates a real open flame without the need for a chimney, professional installation, or gas venting. The unit produces heat almost immediately after ignition, with a flame effect equivalent to that of a wood fire.

The operation produces no smoke, odors, or ash. The system incorporates an internal ceramic lining that modifies the combustion process: the burner consumes the steam emitted from the hot fuel instead of bioethanol directly, reducing consumption by approximately 40%, according to the manufacturer.
