The Phenix NEO range represents the purest innovation from Bodart & Gonay , combining the visual spectacle of an open fire with the thermal efficiency of a state-of-the-art airtight insert.

The Phenix 85 NEO is the mid-range version in the family, designed to offer a perfect balance between size, power, and visual appeal. It integrates seamlessly into a wide variety of rooms, while maintaining the guillotine door technology that characterizes the entire range.

Two experiences in one team:

  • Open door (open fire): The door rises vertically via a chain and counterweight mechanism that slides on ball bearings, with Eriflon rollers that ensure quiet operation and require no lubrication. In this position, enjoy a genuine open fire with heat recovery, perfect for creating ambiance.
  • Door closed (maximum efficiency): When the door is lowered, the fireplace becomes a highly efficient, airtight system, ideal for heating the home on the coldest days. Combustion is almost complete, minimizing wood consumption and pollutant emissions.

Performance and power:

  • Operating plate (power): 9 to 15 kW.
  • Useful yield: 77.3%.
  • Approvals: Phase III (Royal Decree 12/10/10), Flamme Verte 7*, EN 13229 (European standard).

Technology and ease of use:

The fire regulation is dual: manual and automatic via a thermostat that protects the equipment against overheating, automatically closing the air intake if the temperature rises excessively.

The cleaning system is particularly well thought out: the door can be opened by tilting to facilitate access to the interior, and the ash tray allows for clean and convenient disposal.

Always clean glass:

The Phenix 85 NEO incorporates a smoke extraction system with preheated air directed onto the glass, keeping it clean for longer. The absence of metal beneath the glass provides a purer, clearer view of the fire.

Technical specifications:

  • Flue outlet: Ø250 mm.
  • Hot air outlets: 2 outlets of Ø150 mm.
  • External air intake: Ø125 mm (through the rear or base of the equipment).
  • Heat exchanger: Large surface area for optimal heat transfer.
  • Deflectors: 3 adjustable baffles and one fixed baffle for maximum heat recovery and adaptation to the draft of each chimney.

Finishing options:

  • Skamolex (Vermiculite) Interior: Included as standard. Light finish that reflects light and adds brightness to the fire.
  • Interior Metal: Payment option. Finished in black steel, with a sober and contemporary style.
  • Finishing frames (included as standard): 4 mm frame or 30 mm frame (your choice).
