What does it mean that my Ferlux Taurus has double combustion?

The double combustion of the Ferlux Taurus model is an additional contribution of preheated air in the upper part of the combustion chamber that allows the burning of all the particles that have not been burned in the area where the fuel is and that - in a device that did not have this system - would be ash, soot in the tube or particle emissions into the atmosphere.

This over-oxygenation produces a burning of all these particles of material that would normally be waste.

Visually, we see an additional fire of great beauty, which will translate into greater heating power at lower consumption, that is, greater performance. The performance data measures the burning efficiency.

A double combustion stove is more ecological and environmentally friendly due to its lower emission level and lower fuel consumption.

Vermiculite allows for greater efficiency (ratio between the amount of wood consumed and the heat generated) than metal interiors. Vermiculite also stands out for heating up more quickly than traditional cast iron interiors and for providing a very bright fire.

The high temperature developed with the help of vermiculite contributes to generating very low levels of emissions, little residue in the form of ash and the capacity for pyrolytic self-cleaning (that is, by developing sufficient temperature in the combustion chamber the material will remain the same light colour as it was originally).

What coverage does the warranty offered by the manufacturer Ferlux have?

Ferlux guarantees that the cast iron or steel exterior parts of the product are free from material or manufacturing defects. This guarantee covers a period of 2 years from the date of purchase.

The Ferlux guarantee does not cover the repair or replacement of parts subject to normal wear and tear, such as combustion plates, grates, smoke deflectors, interior parts with fire and moving parts such as handles or knobs. The guarantee also does not cover broken glass or wear and tear on door and glass cords.
