Choosing a wood-burning stove is essentially about choosing how long the heat lasts once the fire dies down. The FM Calefacción M-108 PF prioritizes thermal inertia: up to 4 mm thick steel on the exterior and cast iron throughout the interior chamber , a material that accumulates heat and releases it steadily for hours. It also boasts a nominal output of 9.5 kW and a compact design that fits in medium-sized spaces.

With a nominal power of 9.5 kW and a peak of 11.7 kW , this stove heats a volume of 260 m³ . This is the ideal range for a medium-sized home or a large living room with a high ceiling, without being underpowered or causing excessive energy consumption.

Double and triple combustion: 81% efficiency

The double and triple combustion system reburns gases that would otherwise escape unused through the chimney in a conventional stove. The result is an 81% efficiency with a consumption of 2.76 kg/h: more heat per load of wood and fewer trips to the woodshed. Independent primary and secondary air control allows you to adjust combustion according to your chimney draft and the type of wood.

Ecodesign Certification

The European Ecodesign Directive sets strict efficiency and emissions limits for solid fuel appliances. The M-108 PF meets these limits with 0.08% CO and 35.00 mg/Nm³ of particulate matter (at 13% O₂). Beyond the environmental benefits, this certification is a common requirement for grants and subsidies for replacing heating equipment.

Foundry where it matters most

The inner chamber, door , and grille are made of cast iron, the material that best withstands repeated heating and cooling cycles without deforming. The flue outlet , also made of cast iron, is a male 150 mm diameter fitting. The exterior finish is a black , heat-resistant, inorganic paint that withstands temperatures up to 800°C .

Rotating barbecue grill included

The M-108 PF doesn't just heat: it incorporates a 310 x 300 mm stainless steel rotating grill for roasting inside the chamber itself. Meat, vegetables, or fish can be cooked with the heat of the wood while the stove performs its primary function.

Clean glass and easy cleaning

The ceramic glass withstands temperatures up to 750°C and incorporates a clean-glass system : an airflow sweeps across the inner surface of the glass, slowing down soot buildup so you can continue to enjoy the flame without having to clean it every two days. The removable ash drawer allows you to empty the ashes by simply pulling out the tray, without making a mess on the floor.

Technical specifications
