How hot will my Invicta Altara be?

The Invicta Altara stove model features double combustion and sealed combustion.

Its optimal operating power (nominal with 79% efficiency) is 7 kW, and according to Invicta's estimate, it can heat an area of between 40 and 85 square meters. At maximum operating power, it reaches 10.5 kW.

What does it mean that my Invicta Altara has double combustion?

The double combustion of the Invicta Altara model is an additional supply of preheated air in the upper part of the combustion chamber that allows the burning of all the particles that have not burned in the area where the fuel is located and which - in an appliance that did not have this system - would be ash, soot into the flue or emissions of particles into the atmosphere.

This over-oxygenation produces a burning of all these particles of material that would normally be waste.

Visually, we observe an additional, beautiful flame, which will translate into greater heat output with lower fuel consumption—that is, greater efficiency. The efficiency figure measures the burning effectiveness.

A stove with double combustion is more ecological, respectful of the environment due to its lower level of emissions and lower fuel consumption.

What advantages does the external air intake on my Invicta Altara offer?

In a sealed stove with an external air intake, the combustion air is drawn directly from outside the house. This maintains its oxygen level.

Furthermore, it eliminates the need for ventilation to refresh the air. In addition, it largely reduces interference from other drafts inside the house, such as those caused by the kitchen extractor fan.

What is vermiculite? What are its advantages?

Vermiculite is a mineral-based material that stands out for its exceptional thermal properties. Vermiculite offers greater efficiency (the ratio of wood consumed to heat generated) than metal fireboxes. It also heats up faster than traditional cast iron fireboxes and produces a very bright fire.

The high temperature developed with the help of vermiculite contributes to generating very low levels of emissions, little residue in the form of ash, and the capacity for pyrolytic self-cleaning (that is, by developing sufficient temperature in the combustion chamber, the material will maintain the same light color it originally had).

What coverage does the Invicta manufacturer's warranty offer?

Invicta warrants that the cast iron or steel exterior parts of the product are free from defects in materials or workmanship. This warranty covers a period of 2 years from the date of purchase.

The Invicta warranty does not cover repair or replacement of parts subject to normal wear and tear, such as combustion plates, grates, smoke deflectors, interior parts exposed to the fire, and moving parts like handles or knobs. The warranty also does not cover broken glass or wear and tear on door and glass seals.
