The M-170 LK from FM Calefacción belongs to the latter group: understated lines, an integrated wood storage compartment beneath the combustion chamber, and a presence that blends seamlessly with traditional furnishings. Behind this appearance lies a 17 kW heating capacity capable of warming up to 335 m³ .

Integrated woodshed: the wood where it needs to be

The wood storage unit is part of the equipment itself , housed beneath the combustion chamber. You have the day's load at hand, without baskets or piles on the floor, and the wood dries with the residual heat of the stove: drier wood means better combustion and less soot.

Hanging or on a bench

This model allows for two installation methods : wall-mounted or placed on a built-in base. This flexibility lets you adapt it to the project rather than the other way around, and is especially useful in renovations where there is already a fireplace opening or mantel.

Vermiculite and double combustion: 81% efficiency

The interior of the combustion chamber is lined with vermiculite , a refractory material that reflects heat inwards instead of absorbing it. The resulting high temperatures allow the double combustion system to burn gases that would otherwise be lost up the chimney. The result: 81% efficiency with a fuel consumption of 3.95 kg/h.

Ecodesign Certification

The European Ecodesign Directive imposes strict efficiency and emissions limits on solid fuel appliances. The M-170 LK meets these requirements with CO2 emissions of 0.12% . In addition to its environmental benefits, this certification is often a requirement for accessing subsidies for heating equipment replacement.

Wide opening for 62 cm logs

The loading opening measures 540 x 285 x 370 mm and accommodates logs up to 62 cm . This is a generous size: you can buy standard-sized firewood without needing to cut it, and load several pieces at once to extend the time between refills.

Clean glass and a durable finish

The screen-printed glass withstands temperatures up to 750°C and incorporates a clean-glass system : an air curtain sweeps across the interior surface of the glass, delaying soot buildup so the flame remains visible without constant cleaning. The exterior is coated with inorganic heat-resistant paint that withstands temperatures up to 800°C .
