FM BH-180 P Home Barbecue with Door

The FM Calefacción BH-180 P is the metal core for building your brick barbecue, in its version with a cast iron door . This 80 cm firebox is designed to be embedded in a brick or stone enclosure and is made of carbon steel up to 4 mm thick , capable of withstanding years of intensive use with both wood and charcoal.

The cast iron door makes all the difference

Being able to close the firebox completely changes how you use the barbecue. With the door closed, air only enters through the channels you control with the regulator, allowing you to slow down combustion and make much better use of each load of wood. It also contains sparks and smoke when you're not cooking, and gives the whole setup a cleaner, more enclosed look. Cast iron is the material that best withstands heating and cooling cycles without warping.

Robust construction

The 4 mm thick sheet metal is what separates a barbecue that lasts for decades from one that warps in a couple of seasons. The combustion chamber incorporates a cast iron grate , and the entire assembly is finished with 800°C heat-resistant paint .

Stainless steel grill included

It comes with a trapezoidal stainless steel grill (67 cm wide at the front, 52 cm wide at the back, and 40 cm deep), designed to fit the geometry of the firebox. Stainless steel won't rust outdoors or impart any flavors, and it makes use of virtually the entire usable surface area of the firebox.

Firewood or charcoal, logs up to 70 cm

The loading opening measures 34 x 68 cm and the chamber is 49 cm deep , accommodating logs up to 70 cm long . You can use commercially available firewood and create your own embers, or use charcoal for convenience. Primary air regulation and a draft diverter valve complete the combustion control system.

Removable deflector and easy cleaning

The baffle is removable , making it easy to adjust the draft and access the flue for regular cleaning. The removable ash drawer collects ash and grease during cooking and is emptied by simply pulling out the tray, without having to scrape the bottom of the chamber.
